The original Ninja SLUSHi: one 1.9-litre vessel, five presets (Slush, Frozen Cocktail, Frappé, Milkshake, Frozen Juice) and a built-in compressor, so you pour in a drink and it freezes it — no ice or blending.

Figures are as published by the maker; freeze and hold times are the maker’s claims and depend on ingredients, volume and starting temperature.

Ninja’s support pages say each preset starts at a default temperature on a scale of 10 levels — the Slush preset at level 3 and the cocktail setting at level 9 — and you can adjust from there. If a drink has too little sugar or too much alcohol, the machine detects it and flashes its lights and beeps; see our cleaning & troubleshooting guide.
The same Ninja spec table that lists 200 watts also shows 120 volts, which is not a UK mains figure, so treat the power figure with some caution.
