Ninja mentions mango lassi among the drinks its SlushAssist machines can handle. This version keeps the sugar where it needs to be.

Ingredients

  • 500 g natural yoghurt
  • 500 ml mango pulp or purée
  • 600 ml milk
  • 80 g caster sugar
  • 1 pinch ground cardamom (optional)

Allergens to watch: Milk. Always check the labels of the brands you use.

Method

  1. Whisk the yoghurt until smooth.
  2. Whisk in the mango pulp, milk, sugar and cardamom until the sugar has dissolved.
  3. Chill well.
  4. Pour into the machine below the maximum fill line and run the Milkshake setting.
  5. Serve promptly.

Sugar check

80 g of sugar in about 1,600 ml is 5 g per 100 ml from the added sugar, plus the natural sugar in the mango and milk. Tinned mango pulp is often sweetened already — check the label.

Check your own mix in the sugar & units calculator.
